The DACORUM TALKING NEWSPAPER

The Dacorum Talking Newspaper is a registered charity (Number 273819) and is distributed in the Dacorum area of West Hertfordshire.

The service is free, as is the postage to any visually impaired person. We have over 80 volunteers, but maintenance of our equipment costs approximately £1,000 each year. Having no permanent sponsorship from any local authority or industry, the charity is entirely dependent on voluntary donations.

The Dacorum Talking Newspaper is available to visit your club or group to illustrate the work of our charity with the visually impaired. It includes a slide show depicting our work, the various forms of sight loss and the many aids available to make life easier for blind people. We do not charge for the presentation but would hope to receive a donation towards our charity. For more information or to book please contact the Secretary.
